18.09.2020The CPC has authorized Nova Broadcasting Group EOOD to acquire „Elite Media Bulgaria“ ЕООD, „Radio Vesselina“ ЕАD, „Vitosha FM“ ЕООD и „Radio Еxpress“ ADBy Decision № 735/17.09.2020, the Commission on Protection of Competition has authorized Nova Broadcasting Group EOOD to acquire sole control over the companies operating the TV channels "Channel 3", "THE VOICE" and "Magic TV" and radio stations Radio Vesselina; Radio Vitosha; Magic FM and The Voice Radio.

07.08.2020The Commission for protection of competition has submitted a Statement of objections for an alleged infringement of art. 15, par. 1 of the Law on protection of competition to “Mayoral Bulgaria” Ltd. and “Mayoral Moda Infantil” S.A.With Ruling 675/06.08.2020 adopted on case CPC/212/2019 on the grounds of art. 74, par. 1, item 3 of the Law on protection of competition (LPC), the CPC has submitted a Statement of objections for an alleged infringement of art. 15, par. 1, item 1 of the LPC to “Mayoral Bulgaria” Ltd. and “Mayoral Moda Infantil” S.A. manifested in vertical arrangement with retailers for setting resale prices and defining minimal resale prices, which by object distorts the competition on the market for children clothes, shoes and accessories of medium to high class on the territory of the country.

15.04.2020The Commission for Protection of Competition (CPC) monitors the motor fuel retail marketIn response to the signals received and the information disseminated in the media about the discrepancy between the significant decrease in petrol prices worldwide (by 47, 4%) in March as opposing to the respective decrease of the national retail prices for motor fuel (by approx. 11 %) for the same period, the Commission informs the public that it monitors retail prices and the dynamics of the national fuel markets.

04.09.2020The CPC opens preliminary investigation into the activities of private medical laboratoriesAs of July 14, 2020 the Greek authorities adopted new, stricter measures for Bulgarian tourists, entering the country, namely the presentation of a negative PCR test performed by a licensed laboratory. Identical measures were introduced by the Austrian authorities for Bulgarians entering the country.
